A Comfort Teddy is a very special and personal memento of a loved one you have lost. By making a tangible lasting memory from worn clothing, which can bring you or your child comfort in difficult times.
How did I get started with this?
I struggled with grief for a long time after my father passed away, starting at the age of 6. However, that became a bit easier when my mother got an old dusty suitcase from the attic years later and opened it with me. In it were many of his clothes and things that I recognized from photos. A bathrobe, sweater, pants, jacket, bracelet, glasses, etc. That's when I got the idea...

- Fabrics that are not usable include: fabrics with too much stretch, knitted wool, thick imitation leather and organza/chiffon-like materials. The best result is when the fabrics are comparable in strength and thickness.

After approximately 2 weeks you will receive your Troost item at home in a suitable box.
(+ €8.00) shipping costs). This can also be picked up at the studio without extra costs (by appointment only). You will then receive a payment request.
If you have to wait longer for your Troost item, I will contact you as soon as the reason is known. (delivery problems, vacation)
