In 2018 I started my studies in Theatre Design at the MBO Theatre School in Rotterdam. There I took lessons from Saskia Meulendijk (Portfolio & design), Caja Labordus (Make-up) and Dorine van IJsseldijk (Costume).

During my school years I also came into contact with many talented and passionate peers, who will certainly ensure good cooperation where necessary. Should multiple disciplines be needed to complete a job.

But there is always room for improvement, which is why I see every assignment and challenge as an opportunity to grow and improve my techniques.

Before graduating, I gained work experience at theatre companies including 'Jeugdtheater Hofplein' with director Peer van de Berg, 'WORM' under the direction of Jari Winsen & 'Theater Rotterdam' (formerly 'RO Theater') where I helped create the costumes for 'Rumpelstiltskin & the Blind Princess', the annual family performance.

In my final year I mainly did an internship and worked there for the Blue Circle production 'The Masked Singer' (RTL4). With all that knowledge together I started my own studio.

What I strongly believe in is that theatre and art should be available to everyone. And it can completely transport you to another world. Through puppets and costumes I try to contribute to something that can be that great experience for someone.

Because I strongly believe that everyone should be able to enjoy art, I am always open to collaborations with organizations or associations that may not have much money. To then put a low-budget job there. So if you are unsure whether a professional studio fits your budget, do not hesitate to email me! Then I will gladly think along with you about the possibilities!

By sending an email with your idea or goal, you can request a quote. We will get in touch and we can sit down together to discuss/arrange everything. After which I will propose one or more non-binding designs where necessary.

After all parties have agreed, I will get to work to bring your vision to life. Depending on the assignment, the time can vary from a few weeks to a few months. We will have regular contact and you will be kept informed of all major advances and steps. This is how we arrive at a product that everyone can be proud of and satisfied with.

The product can be picked up at the studio on the agreed date, unless otherwise discussed. It will be delivered in a suitable box, with any user manual.
